A POEM FOR A FRIEND

You are not alone and never will be,

I will stand by you forever and always,

For all that I am and all that you are,

I will love you until the end of our time.

I have fought against the devil we see in our mind,

Let me hold you until you feel safe and sound,

Let us laugh together just like old times.

I will be your protector and I will be your friend,

I will support you until our undoubtable end,

You are a dear friend and you are a true soul,

I promise to love you no matter where you stroll.

You mean the world to me and I will never let you go,

A friendship like ours is rarer than you know,

Tell me your fears and let me be your guide,

Through darkness and tears I will help you fly.

When life gets hard remember I am here,

We will stand together and combat all that we fear,

Together we can face anything in our path, 

To live and to love and always remembering to laugh.
